Ramakrishna Mission, Salem arranged and presented a Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Machine (without consumables) to the Government Hospital, Omalur, Salem District (17 km from Salem) on 18 July 2022. The equipment will be useful in treating patients with bedsores, diabetic foot, accident wounds etc. and help them in recovering faster.
There are 93 villages in and around Omalur and the needy and poor patients from these villages stand to benefit immensely from this equipment.
