b. Specialized Medical Treatments: The following special treatments were provided by some of our centres through their hospitals, dispensaries, special programmes, camps, etc.

- Eye treatment was rendered by our centres at Bankura, Dehradun, Delhi, Kamarpukur, Khetri, Porbandar, and so on, and at the hospitals in Kankhal, Lucknow, Muzaffarpur, Vrindaban, etc. Besides, many centres have a separate eye department attached to their dispensaries.
- Leprosy case detection and treatment was done by the headquarters (Belur Math) and our centres at Kamarpukur, Lucknow, etc.
- Maternity and child welfare services were provided by our hospitals in Kolkata (Seva Pratishthan), Lucknow, and Vrindaban and also by some dispensaries.
- Neurology department functioned at the hospitals in Kolkata (Seva Pratishthan), Lucknow, Varanasi, etc.
- Physiotherapy treatment was provided by the headquarters (Belur Math) and our centres at Bhopal, Indore, Itanagar, Kolkata (Seva Pratishthan), Lucknow, New Delhi, Prayagraj, Shillong, Varanasi, Vrindaban, etc. The centres at and Visakhapatnam have special clinics for providing physiotherapy treatment to cerebral palsied children.
- Psychiatry treatment was provided in our Itanagar, Kolkata (Seva Pratishthan), Lucknow, Raipur, and Vrindaban hospitals and also by some dispensaries.
- Tuberculosis cases were treated at the 200-bed sanatorium in Ranchi, the TB Clinic attached to Delhi centre as also by the headquarters (Belur Math) and our centres at Itanagar, Kamarpukur, Kankhal, Lucknow, Malda, Narainpur, Patna, etc.
Besides, many centres had special departments for dental surgery, ENT, cardiology, paediatrics, acupressure, acupuncture, etc. Several centres provided ayurvedic treatment also.
c. Medical Camps: In the eye camps, 6742 patients were operated on for cataract and 6711 patients were given spectacles free of all charges. Programmes like leprosy and TB eradication, and medical camps for other ailments were also conducted by various centres. Besides, 3581 units of blood were collected from voluntary blood donors through 83 camps. The Mission spent a sum of Rs. 229.17 crore towards medical service.

In this financial year, 103 units of blood were collected through 12 blood donation camps.
b. Specialized Medical Treatments: The following special treatments were provided by some of our centres through their hospitals, dispensaries, special programmes, camps, etc.

- Eye treatment was rendered by our centres at Chennai (Math), Halasuru, Rajkot, and so on. Besides, many centres have a separate eye department attached to their dispensaries.
- Leprosy case detection and treatment was done by Chennai Math.
- Maternity and child welfare services were provided by our hospital in Thiruvananthapuram and also by some dispensaries.
- Physiotherapy treatment was provided by our centres at Ghatshila and Nagpur. Rajkot centre has a special clinic for providing physiotherapy treatment to cerebral palsied children.
- Psychiatry treatment was provided in our Thiruvananthapuram hospital and also by some dispensaries.
- Tuberculosis cases were treated at Chennai Math, Ichapur and Pune centres.
Besides, many centres had special departments for dental surgery, ENT, cardiology, paediatrics, acupressure and acupuncture.
c. Medical Camps: In the eye camps, 225 patients were operated on for cataract. Programmes like leprosy and TB eradication, and medical camps for other ailments were also conducted by various centres.
The total expenditure incurred on medical work in 2020-21 was Rs. 32.94 crore.
