Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav : Rajamahendravaram


On the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram, conducted value oriented programmes in different schools and colleges along with medical camps and youth conventions.


Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav  Phase – I

National Youth Day – 12-01-2022

Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram celebrated the National Youth Day and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on 12th January.

A total of 300 Youth participated in various competitions and prizes were distributed.

Prior to that a small procession was conducted from Math premises to Vivekananda Circle, Kambalaceruvu.

Eminent personalities from the town garlanded the statue to pay respects to the great son of our Motherland.


Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav  Phase – II

 

Vivekananda Bala Vikasa Kendra (Summer Camp for Children)  09-05-2022 to 05-06-2022

Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram  organized (Summer Camp) “Vivekananda Bala Vikasa Kendra” for  school children ( from 2nd Class to 8th Class) from 9th May to 5th June  2022, dedicated to Swami Vivekananda and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. This was meant to inculcate the sense of cultural, moral, ethical and academic as well as sports values in the growing children, through prayer, Bhajans, talks on different subjects, like how to build character, health hygiene, practice of yoga, Meditation, sports, Drawing, Classical Dance etc.  About 232 children participated in the Camp. As a concluding programme the centre performed “Vidyarthi Homa”.

 

Competitions – from 28-05-22 to 29-05-22

Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram has conducted competitions to students on 28th and 29th May, 2022.

The competitions Elocution, Essay Writing, Drawing, Costumes of Freedom Fighters with their slogans. 200 students participated in the competitions.

The centre distributed certificated to all the participants. Mementoes and medals were given to the prize winners.


Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav  Phase – III

 

Special Epilepsy Medical Camp :  On 11th July, 2022. Special Epilepsy Medical Camp conducted at our Charitable Dispensary. Dr. Gopalam Sivannarayana, MD, DM from Vijayawada treated the patients. 500 patients were benefitted. 

Medical Camp at Sitanagaram Village : On 1st  August, 2022 a Special Medical Camp was conducted at Kasturiba Gandhi Ashramam, Sitangaram. The purpose of this camp is to provide specialist consultation to poor Tribal patients. These patients don’t have the facility and means to go to Rajahmundry to meet the specialist doctors.  In this Camp, 200 patients were treated for various diseases. The regular medical staff and volunteers worked very hard to make the preparations on the previous day itself.

Medical Camp at Sirigindapaladu Village : On 9th  August, 2022 a Special Medical Camp was conducted at Sitanagaram Village. The purpose of this camp is to provide specialist consultation to poor Tribal patients. These patients don’t have the facility and means to go to Rajahmundry to meet the specialist doctors.  In this Camp, 250 patients were treated for various diseases. The regular medical staff and volunteers worked very hard to make the preparations on the previous day itself.

Youth Convention – 06-08-2022

Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram conducted Youth Convention on 06-08-2022. A total of 200 Youth participated in various competitions and prizes were distributed.

Competitions for School Children – 09-08-2022

“Dedicated to Swami Vivekananda and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” Ramakrishna Mission, Rajamahendravaram has conducted competitions to students on 09-08-2022

The centre distributed “Call to the Nation” Books to all the participants. Mementoes and medals were given to the prize winners.

Value Education Programmes in Schools

Value Education Programmes conducted in two schools Suryadeep Global School, Diwancheruvu and Suryadeep E.M. School, Rajahmundry.


Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav  Final Phase

Final Phase of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav concluded on Independence Day.

On 15 August 2022 the National Flag was hoisted at the ashrama in the presence of students and teachers of Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence and Vivekananda Abhyudaya Prakalpa, monastic members and devotees.
