In the wake of lockdown owing to COVID-19 pandemic, Ramakrishna Math, Cossipore, has started relief services to the underprivileged families in the Cossipore area of Kolkata.
On 14 June, 16 June and 23 June 2020, Cossipore ashrama distributed 3000 kg rice, 300 kg dal, 1200 kg potato, 300 ltrs mustard oil, 300 kg soybeans, 300 kg salt, 400 pc soaps, 200 sanitary napkins, 100 kg milk powder to 600 families of Sundarban, North 24 Paraganas, and in the slums areas of Cossipore.
From 30 April to 13 May 2020, Cossipore ashrama distributed 5284 kg rice, 661 kg dal, 3405 kg potato, 177.5 ltr mustard oil, 270 kg soybean, 252.5 kg salt, 210 pcs soap, 210 pcs mask, 206 bottles hand sanitizer to 1321 families in the adjacent slum area.
The centre has distributed ration kits to 1200 families in the adjacent slum area from 30 March to 26 April 2020.
On 22 April 2020, the ashrama distributed ration kits to (rice, dal, potato, soyabeans) to 200 families at the adjacent slum area.
On 18 April 2020, the ashrama distributed ration kits to (rice, dal, potato, soyabeans) to 200 families at the adjacent slum area.
On 14 April 2020, the ashrama distributed ration kits to (rice, dal, potato) to 150 families at the adjacent slum area.
On 9 April 2020, the ashrama distributed ration kits (rice, dal, potato) to 150 families at the adjacent slum area.

On 31 March 2020, the ashrama distributed rice, dal, potatoes, salt, and soaps were given to the affected families of daily wage earners.
