Ramakrishna Mission Calcutta Students’ Home, Belgharia, started Amphan cyclone relief services to aid families affected by the Cyclone Amphan which unleashed havoc on 20 May 2020.

29 May 2020 to 20 June 2020 : The Ashrama has distributed necessary packed dry food and other items 18810 kg Rice, 15000 kg Chira, 9924 kg pulse, 8124 lit.mustard oil, 2400 Kg Potatoes, 6162 kg of sugar, 3608 packets biscuit (400 gms.), 3261 kg Soyabean, 6762 Kg Salt, 1922 packets milk (200gm packet), 1500 kg Chhola, 4162 packets Candle, 3162 pcs Saris, 3162 Pcs Lungis, 12648 Pcs Masks, 25296 Nos. Sanitary Napkins, 1717 Pcs Tarpaulins & 12324 bars soap to each of 6902 families (total 27400 persons) and served 8848 plates of cooked food among 2371 families in North 24 Parganas.
