Ramakrishna Mission Boys’ Home, Rahara conducted extensive distribution drives to support underprivileged communities in December 2024:
On 22nd December 2024, they distributed 1,724 fleece blankets, 1,007 sarees, 175 mosquito nets, and 380 sets of salwar and kurtis for girls. This distribution covered Mahadeber Aat, Ananda Nagar, Mathpara, Choyghar, Natagarh, Mahendra Nagar, Gandhinibas, Hindustanipara, Sukchar, Agarpara, Mitrapara, and Bara. These areas fall under Khardah, Panihati, Titagarh, and Kamarhati Municipalities and Bara Panchayat, in Barrackpore II and Singur Blocks.
On 14th December 2024, they distributed 2,000 blankets and 1,000 sarees to the residents of six villages in Basirhat subdivision, North 24 Parganas district, West Bengal. These villages include Bamanpukur, Putkhali, Kushangra, Bachhra, Majherpara, and Kachurhula, under Block Minakhan.
