Provision Distribution to Intellectually Challenged Families: Thirumukkudal, August 2025

Ramakrishna Mission, Thirumukkudal, commemorated the 79th Independence Day with heartfelt devotion and patriotic fervor on the morning of 15 August 2025 at 10:00 a.m. The celebration was graced by the presence of 110 intellectually challenged children and their parents, whose participation brought joy and warmth to the occasion.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag, paying homage to the ideals of freedom and unity. This was followed by a brief yet meaningful address to the parents, emphasizing the significance of Independence Day and the eternal values it upholds.

As part of the Ashrama’s monthly outreach service, essential provisions were distributed to 108 families associated with the Mission. The distribution included:

  • Rice: 5 kg × 108 Nos. = 540 kg
  • Toor Dal: 1 kg × 108 Nos. = 108 kg
  • Masoor Dal: 0.5 kg × 108 Nos. = 54 kg
  • Gingelly Oil: 0.5 litres × 108 Nos. = 54 litres
  • Salt: 1 packet × 108 Nos.
  • Bathing & Washing Soap: 1 each × 108 Nos.
  • Spice Packets (Sambar, Rasam, Dhania & Chilli powders): 100 g each × 108 Nos. = 43.2 kg

The celebration concluded with the distribution of noon prasad to around 187 participants.
