Flood relief work at Kullu-Manali of Himachal Pradesh is going on. Because of several landslide incidents due to rain, blocking roads and highways, it is taking time to reach and serve the beneficiaries. Ramakrishna Mission, Shilmla, distributed groceries, hygiene kits, utensils and bedding materials to 650 persons of Swai, Klath, Kais villages of Naggar block of Kullu district in Himachal Pradesh.

Due to incessant rain and heavy flood, highways, tunnels and roads were washed out in many places of Himachal Pradesh. Many houses, hotels, shops, cars, trucks were washed out and destroyed by the flood water. There were land slides and debris on the broken road.
Ramakrishna Mission, Shimla, has started flood relief work and distributed 70 grocery kits, each kits containing rice, dal, cooking oil, sugar and cooking items, to 70 families of the interior villages of Kullu district, on 26 July 2023. The Shimla centre is also arranging blankets, tarpaulins and cooked food for the flood victims.
