On the auspicious occasion of Snana Yatra, June 22nd, 2024, Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar commemorated a significant milestone – the laying of the foundation stone for their new staff quarters building, Yogananda Bhavan. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Swami Satyeshananda ji, Assistant General Secretary of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math.
Swami Satyeshananda ji delivered an inspiring talk on “man-making education” to the center’s youth cell, igniting their passion for holistic development. Swami Vedasarananda ji, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar, and Swami Achyuteshananda ji Maharaj also addressed the participants, enriching the gathering with their wisdom.
The afternoon unfolded with a tour of the center’s facilities led by Swami Satyeshananda ji. He explored RKM Sarada Vidyalaya, Vivekananda Marg, the statues of Swami Vivekananda and Bhagavan Buddha, gaining a deeper understanding of the center’s mission.
The evening concluded with a delightful one-act play. Performed by the hostel students from classes 4, 5, and 6, it showcased their talents and creativity. Following the play, Swami Satyeshananda ji addressed the Secondary Section students, commending their abilities and urging them to dedicate themselves to serving the nation.
