The Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda’s Ancestral House and Cultural Centre, Kolkata, successfully organizeOn 30 November 2026, the Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda’s Ancestral House and Cultural Centre organised a solemn “Gita Jnana Yajna” to commemorate the auspicious occasion of Gita Jayanti.
The programme began with registration and welcome tea, followed by an introductory address delivered by Swami Jnanalokananda, Secretary of the Centre. Participants then took part in the collective chanting of the entire Bhagavad Gita, creating a deeply sacred and elevating spiritual atmosphere.
After the chanting, the traditional Gita Aarati was performed. The event concluded with a thanksgiving session, during which Swami Jnanalokananda expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all participants.
A total of 230 participants attended the programme, including 15 children from the Balak Sangha and Kanya Sangha. Lunch packets were distributed to all attendees at the end.
