Inauguration of Miniature Doll Exhibition at Visakhapatnam

Revered Swami Gautamanandaji, Vice President, inaugurated the renovated miniature doll exhibition on the lives and teachings of the Holy trio on 18 September 2017 at the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama library, Visakhapatnam.

The Exhibition, which was first established in 1997, was prepared by the special clay sculptors from Krishna Nagar, West Bengal led by Sri Silvano Sarkar. The same team have worked again for more than two months to make it new. Miniature dolls depicting various scenes is so lively, it transports the viewers’ minds to the actual sport that happened more than 100 years ago.

“There is a great need for young people to know about Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda. I wish this exhibition will be seen by all the young people of schools, colleges and all the educational institutions. That will give them the real idea of the greatness of our country and the greatness of our culture, which is needed this time”, said Revered Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj.
