Under the Pilgrimage Rejuvenation & Spiritual Augmentation Drive (PRASAD) scheme of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, three Giant LED Display Screens were inaugurated by Most Revered Swami Smarananandaji Maharaj, President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, on 19 September 2017, in the presence of Sri J. P. Shaw, Regional Director (East), India Tourism, Govt. of India.
Also, thirty shopping kiosks were inaugurated on the way to Belur Math Jetty Ghat, by Sri J. P. Shaw, under the PRASAD scheme of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
Both the projects were implemented by the Tourism Department, Government of West Bengal.
