Inauguration of Cardio-Thoracic & Vascular Surgery Unit, Vrindavan


The Cardio-Thoracic & Vascular Surgery (CTVS) Unit is installed in the 300-bed Multi-specialty Charitable Hospital of Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Vrindaban and was inaugurated by Smt. Hema Malini, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Mathura-Vrindaban Constituency amidst Vedic chanting on 7 December, 2022 in the august presence of Swami Shantatmananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi; Sri Rajesh Prasad, Director (Operations), Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, New Delhi; Dr. Biju Sivam Pillai, MS, MCH, Cardio-Thoracic & Vascular Surgeon, Accord Hospital, Faridabad and Sri Lalit Grover, Managing Trustee, Manav Seva Sansthan, Mumbai, apart from many other distinguished personalities. The new Super-specialty unit will have the facility for Bypass Surgery, Vascular Surgeries, Valve replacements, etc. which is at present the only facility available in and around the surrounding districts.

The inauguration was followed by a public meeting at Swami Vivekananda Auditorium in the ashrama campus.
