Although God is formless, he takes form according to our mental conception of him. It is because the formless Sachchidananda dwells in our hearts that we can meditate on one of God’s blissful forms. God appears in whatever form the devotee meditates on him.

যদিও ভগবান নিরাকার, তবুও তাঁর প্রতি আমাদের মানসিক ধারণা অনুসারে তিনি রূপ ধারণ করেন। কারণ নিরাকার সচ্চিদানন্দ আমাদের হৃদয়ে বাস করেন বলেই আমরা ঈশ্বরের এক আনন্দময় রূপের ধ্যান করতে পারি। ভক্ত তাঁকে যে রূপে ধ্যান করেন ভগবান সেই রূপেই আবির্ভূত হন।
