The fire of Yoga burns the cage of sin that is around a man. Mind becomes purified and Nirvâna is directly obtained. From Yoga comes knowledge; knowledge again helps the Yogi. He who combines in himself both Yoga and knowledge, with him the Lord is pleased.

যোগাগ্নি মানবের পাপ-পিঞ্জরকে দগ্ধ করে; তখন চিত্তশুদ্ধি হয়, সাক্ষাৎ নির্বাণ লাভ হয়। যোগ হইতে জ্ঞান লাভ হয়, জ্ঞানও আবার যোগীকে সাহায্য করে। যাঁহার মধ্যে যোগ ও জ্ঞান সমন্বিত, ঈশ্বর তাঁহার প্রতি প্রসন্ন।
