Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Manasadwip organized a day-long interschool competition on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda to commemorate the concluding ceremony of the 125th Anniversary Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses. The completion was organized on 1 September 2019. Elocution competition for students of Class V, VII, IX and XI, recitation competition of Swami Vivekananda’s poem “Hold of yet a while, braveheart” for Class VI and Class VIII, essay writing competition for the students of Class IX and XI, music competition on songs of Swamiji for Class V to Class XI, drawing competition for Class V to VIII, quiz competition on life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda for students of Class VIII and IX.
Total of 203 students (both boys and girls) of 19 schools of Sagar island took part in this competition.
