A Krishi Mela for the farmers and rural people of Purulia district was organized on 24 October 2025 to add to the significance of establishment of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith Agriculture College, Purulia. Revered Srimat Swami Suviranandaji Maharaj, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, inaugurated the Krishi Mela. Monks of different centres, Hon’ble Minister of State, Hon’ble Sabhadhipati of Purulia Zilla Parishad, Hon’ble Vice Chancellors, Superintendent of Police, Purulia, Chairman of Purulia Municipality were present and spoke on this occasion.
