Ramakrishna Clinic of South Africa-Durban, a clinic run by Ramakrishna Centre South Africa, Durban, held a medical outreach camp in Pietermaritzburg on 2 April 2023. A total of 317 patients were treated with consultations in Paediatrics, General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthpaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, Audiology, Optometry, Psychiatry and Psychology. The services offered included glucose and blood pressure screening. Testing for vision and prescriptions for spectacles, dispensing of free medication and laboratory tests. ECGs, chest x-rays, pap smears and ultrasounds were also performed.
