As part of the Invocation to Centenary Celebration of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Deoghar, special puja of Sri Sri Thakur and Nara Narayan Seva were performed on 16th May 2022, the auspicious Buddha Purnima Day. 100 local tribal people were worshipped as Nara-Narayan and arati was performed to them. Each Nara-Narayan received gifts consisting of a ration kit (5kg rice, 1kg dal, 1kg salt, 1lt mustard oil, 2kg potato, a bottle of coconut oil), clothes (dhoti or saree) and steel utensils (plate, bowl, glass). They were served with noon prasad.
Swami Sanakananda ji Maharaj, Ramakrishna Math, Jamtara, and local MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey, graced the occasion as special guests. Some members of the Managing Committee also graced the occasion. Vidyapith staff along with their family members, Sarada Sangha members, the ashrama vendors and suppliers also participated in this pious occasion.
