Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Deoghar, Jharkhand, celebrated the National Youth Day and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on 12 January 2022 through a programme in the Vivekananda Auditorium of the centre. The programme started with the Sanskrit hymn “Anitya Drishyeshu”, followed by the Welcome Address by Swami Jayantananda, Secretary of the centre, recitation of Swadesh Mantra, song on Swamiji, Sanskrit recitation and Hindi recitation. Sri Mayukh Biswas and Sri Kaushal Kishore, teachers of the Vidyapith, spoke on Swami Vivekananda and Modern Youth, in English and Hindi respectively. Yoga was demonstrated by Sri Prasenjit Tarafdar and Sheikh Allauddin. Bengali Audio Drama (Shruti Natak) “Shasar Phooler Noor” was presented by Sri Ananta Mukherjee and others. Sri Kanchan Banerjee gave the Vote of Thanks. The programme ended with the closing song “Tujhse Humne Dilko Lagaya” by Sri Harishankar Burman.
