Ramakrishna Math, Jamtara celebrated the National Youth Day and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on January 12, 2022 in the GAP school building, in the second campus of the ashrama. Swami Sanakananda, the Adhyaksha of the ashrama, inaugurated the programme with floral offering to the portrait of Swami Vivekananda, and sang the opening song (‘Murta Maheshwara’). An excerpt from Swami Vivekananda’s book Lectures from Colombo to Almora was read out by Maharaj. Books on the Message of Swamiji (‘Sabke Swamiji’) were distributed to the youths. Swami Sanakananda, Br. Arka, an eminent teacher Sri Nimai Pandit and two youth representatives delivered speeches. There was a Q&A Session for the enthusiastic youths. Swami Sanakananda and Sri Nimai Pandit conducted the session.
