Ramakrishna Mission, Visakhapatnam celebrated the National Youth Day on 12 January 2023 synchronizing the 125th Year of founding Ramakrishna Mission and the 75th Year of Azad ki Amrita Utsav. There was a procession of students, youths and others (1500 strength) from Old Jail Road (adjacent to Women’s College) to Ramakrishna Beach for a distance of approximately 2 km. Shri Biswajit Dasgupta, the Vice Admiral and Head of Eastern Naval Command was the Chief Guest who spoke at the gathering and flagged off the procession. The procession culminated in a public meeting at the Ramakrishna Beach (Opp to Viswapriya Hall) and Dr. J.D. Laxinarayana Garu, a well read Noted Public Dignitary on Swamiji and a former Jt. Director of CBI, who was the Guest of Honour addressed the gathering. All the participants were given free books on Swamiji and food packets were distributed, besides Annadanam, to approximately 1500 poor people.
