Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Salem, distributed Nutrition Supplement Kits to 100 HIV-positive pregnant women at the Government Medical College and Hospital, Salem, on 17 May 2025. This humanitarian initiative was sponsored by Steel Authority of India – Salem Steel Plant.
Each kit was thoughtfully prepared to meet nutritional needs and included the following items:
- Red Cowpea: 100 kg
- Poha (Avul): 150 kg
- Brown Channa: 150 kg
- Dates: 50 kg
- Fried Gram: 100 kg
- Kabul Channa: 100 kg
- Green Moong Dal: 150 kg
- Ragi Flour: 200 kg
