The 120th Foundation Day of the Ramakrishna Mission was celebrated at Belur Math on 1 May 2016 afternoon. Srimat Swami Smarananandaji chaired the meeting. After the Vedic chanting by the brahmacharins and the opening song by Swami Divyanathananda, Swami Suhitanandaji delivered the welcome address. Swami Chandrakantananda read from the historical proceedings of the General Body meetings of the Ramakrishna Mission Association held on 1st and 5th May 1897. Sri Arjun Rao and Sri Debashis Sen, members of the Ramakrishna Mission, delivered there speeches, followed by the Benediction of Srimat Swami Smarananandaji. Sri Jayanta Roy, member of the Ramakrishna Mission, delivered his Vote of Thanks. Swami Shubhakarananda sang the concluding song.
