Fire Relief

West Bengal: Following a fire accident at Rungneet Tea Estate in Darjeeling district, Darjeeling centre distributed the following items to an affected family from 19 to 22 December: 5 bars of bathing soap, 2 kg detergent powder, 4 bars of dishwashing soap, 1 bottle of hair oil, 20 sachets of shampoo, 1 tube of toothpaste, 5 toothbrushes, 2 mattresses, 5 pillows, 3 pillow covers, 3 bedsheets, 5 blankets, 1 pressure cooker, 1 rice cooker, 2 hot pot boxes, 1 wok (kadahi), 1 covering lid, 1 bowl, 4 plates, 5 tumblers, 2 ladles, 5 spoons, 3 buckets, 3 mugs, 1 school bag, 4 notebooks, 2 pens, 2 pencils, 1 pencil sharpener, 2 erasers and 1 scale.

Almora: 300 meals, 200 kg rice, 200 kg flour, 200 kg pulses, 40 kg soya chunks, 40 litres cooking oil, 28 kg assorted spices, 40 kg salt, 4 kg tea powder and 40 kg sugar on 12 January.

Asansol: 300 T-shirts, 300 trousers and 300 sets of reference books on 17 January.

Belgharia, Kolkata: 150 saris on 2 and 20 December.

Cooch Behar: 282 saris, 243 pairs of socks, 310 mosquito nets, 114 bars of bathing soap, 29 kg detergent powder, 57 tubes of toothpaste, 57 toothbrushes, 57 oranges and 10 geometry boxes from 5 to 26 January.

Garbeta: 100 saris and 100 lungis from 1 October to 12 January.

Ghatshila: 584 packets of biscuits, 7 jars of candy, 12 kg fruits, 192 kg malt drink powder, 624 bars of bathing soap and 312 tubes of antiseptic cream from 26 December to 5 January.

Guwahati: 214 saris on 9 January.

Hatamuniguda: 418 litres fruit juice and 418 bottles of hair oil on 5 and 10 January.

Imphal: 805 notebooks, 130 pens, 110 pencils, 110 pencil sharpeners, 60 erasers, 416 bars of bathing soap, 17 saris, 216 shirts, 158 trousers and 20 bedsheets from 8 to 28 January.

Indore: 53 T-shirts and 53 track pants on 25 December.

Jalpaiguri: 50 saris and 40 baby mosquito nets on 4 and 6 January.

Kalyani: 280 kg rice, 70 kg puffed rice, 35 kg pulses, 35 kg soya chunks, 140 kg potatoes, 140 packets of biscuits and 280 assorted fruits on 19 January.

Kankurgachhi, Kolkata: 100 saris on 26 December.

Madurai: 48 kg semolina, 48 kg pulses, 48 litres cooking oil, 10 kg chilli powder, 24 kg sambar powder, 24 kg tamarind, 48 kg sugar and 48 bars of bathing soap on 19 January.

Malda: 20 saris and 170 assorted garments from 4 December to 16 January.

Medinipur: 500 saris and 500 lungis from 1 to 28 December.

Mumbai: 62 kg rice, 62 kg flour, 31 kg pulses, 8 kg soya chunks, 31 litres cooking oil, 16 kg assorted spices, 16 kg salt, 62 packets of biscuits, 31 bars of bathing soap and 2 kg detergent powder from November to January.

Nattarampalli: 82 kg pulses, 51 litres cooking oil, 29 kg assorted spices, 51 kg salt, 5 kg tea powder, 51 kg sugar and 51 bottles of hair oil on 21 January.

Ponnampet: 100 saris, 800 notebooks and 600 pieces of sweets on 21 January.

Puri Math: 500 saris from 23 December to 28 January.
