The Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa, Phoenix, along with its Johannesburg Sub-Centre, conducted extensive relief activities during January 2026 to support underprivileged families in the region. A total of 150 families benefited from the distribution of essential food items, household supplies, toiletries, and educational materials.

Rice – 1150 kg, Maize Meal – 50 kg, Wheat Flour – 20 kg, Fortified Cereals – 15 kg, Pulses – 250 kg - Fresh Produce & Groceries:
Assorted vegetables – 300 kg, Cooking oil – 180 litres, Tinned food – 360 cans, Soup powder – 18 kg - Dry Snacks & Beverages:
Breakfast cereal sachets – 1400 nos, Biscuits – 1310 pkts, Cakes – 850 nos, Tea bags – 6000 nos, Fruit juice – 40 litres, Flavoured milk – 43 litres, Chocolate bars – 200 nos - Milk & Sugar:
Milk – 618 litres, Sugar – 160 kg - Other Food Items:
Porridge – 100 kg, Macaroni – 80 kg, Assorted spices – 15 kg - Clothing & Household Items:
Assorted garments – 127 nos, Washing soap – 50 bars, Bathing soap – 50 bars, Matchboxes – 100 nos - Toiletries & Hygiene Supplies:
Toothpaste – 25 tubes, Toothbrushes – 60 nos, Adult napkins – 160 nos, Sanitary pads – 320 nos - Educational Support:

2. Medical Relief Work
The Phoenix Clinic provided 3,169 consultations during January 2026, offering essential medical care to the local community.
