As part of its ongoing annual community outreach programme, Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Khar (West), Mumbai, organized a comprehensive Cataract Screening and General Medical Camp on 21 December 2025 at Village Divi Parangi, Alibaug. Patients from surrounding villages attended the camp for eye examinations, general health checkups, and consultations for both acute and chronic ailments.
Individuals diagnosed with lifestyle-related diseases—such as diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia—were provided medicines, counselled on holistic wellness, and guided on essential lifestyle modifications.
The medical team comprised a monastic doctor, an experienced eye consultant, other visiting doctors, dedicated volunteers, hospital staff, and paramedical personnel.
