Ramakrishna Math, Dakshineshwar conducted several spiritual and youth-oriented programmes throughout January, focusing on devotional enrichment, value education, and character building.
19th Spiritual Retreat for Women (3–5 January)
The first retreat of the month was attended by 13 women participants from North 24 Parganas, Durgapur, and Kolkata. The programme included guided discourses, temple visits, and interactive sessions. The retreat concluded with a valedictory session where participants received mementoes.
20th Spiritual Retreat for Women (19–21 January)
Another batch of 13 participants from various districts took part in this retreat. Swami Ritananda and Swami Ishavratananda conducted inspiring spiritual discourses, followed by a closing session with mementoes presented to all attendees.
21st Spiritual Retreat for Women (25–27 January)
The third retreat in this series welcomed 13 women from Malda, Mumbai, and neighbouring districts. Spiritual classes were conducted by Swami Jnanavratananda and Swami Ishavratananda, ending with a valedictory ceremony and distribution of mementoes.
Day-long Women’s Retreat (28 January)
A one-day retreat was held for 15 women from Peerless Nagar and Sodepur. Participants engaged in discussions, devotional sessions, and were served breakfast and lunch prasad.
Youth Retreat (17 January)
A special retreat for the youth was organised with 40 participants from Kolkata Vivekananda Bhava Prachar Parishad. The sessions focused on motivation, personality development, and the life-giving message of Swami Vivekananda.
