The Unveiling Of Sister Nivedita Statue at Great Torrington

 The unveiling of Sister Nivedita Statue in her family cemetery at Great Torrington organised by Ramakrishna Vedanta Centre, Bourne End, U.K.


A bronze statue of Sister Nivedita, donated by the Government of West Bengal through the Headquarters at Belur Math, was installed and unveiled in her family cemetery at Great Torrington in the U.K., on  27 July 2019 at 2 pm.

Swami Sarvasthananda, Bourne End, U.K. and Swami Sarvapriyananda, New York, U.S.A, Councillor Doug Smith, the Deputy Mayor for Great Torrington, and Councillor Cheryl Cottle-Hunkin, Community, Culture & Leisure Lead Member at Torridge District Council jointly unveiled the Statue.

A spiritual retreat was held earlier at the Castle Hill Community Centre from 10 am to 1 pm. A lot of devotees from all over the U.K and the local people participated in the celebrations.
