Visit of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh: Aalo, 23 December 2024

The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Sri Pema Khandu, visited Ramakrishna Mission, Aalo, on December 23, 2024. The visit was part of the institution’s ongoing efforts to foster community engagement and showcase its contributions to education, culture, and environmental sustainability.

The Chief Minister was warmly received by a band troupe at the Universal Temple, and offered flowers in the shrine as a mark of reverence. Students performed a soulful bhajan, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. Sri Kento Ete, President of the Managing Committee, extended a warm welcome to the Chief Minister. In a brief address, the Chief Minister shared words of encouragement with the students, highlighting the importance of education, values, and community service. Under the initiative “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam,” the Chief Minister participated in a sapling plantation drive, emphasizing the Mission’s commitment to environmental conservation. The Chief Minister was felicitated during a high tea session at the Central Office building. This session included the launch of a magazine and a guestbook entry to commemorate the occasion.

The Chief Minister’s visit underscored the Ramakrishna Mission’s role in nurturing holistic education and community well-being in Arunachal Pradesh. His active participation in the plantation drive reinforced the importance of sustainable practices. Additionally, his words of encouragement inspired students to strive for excellence and contribute positively to society.
