The Indian Epic Culture Centre, Kolkata, presented Viswanayak Vivekananda Award to Kankurgachhi Math on 18 August. On behalf of the Math, the General Secretary received the award comprising a trophy, a citation and ten thousand and one rupees.
Ramakrishna Lilakatha and songs were performed by Swami Akalmashananda, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Balaram Mandir, Kolkata.
Songs for this occasion was sung by Sri Bimal Kumar Bannerjee and the Welcome Address was given by the Adhyakshya.
The citation was read out by Sri Bandhan Kumar Dutta, Assistant Secretary, Indian Epic Culture Centre, Kolkata.
