Welfare Activities: Cooch Behar, October 2025

The Vivekananda Study Circle, run by Ramakrishna Math, Cooch Behar, in the Madhu Tea Garden area (Kalchini Block, Alipurduar District) continues to serve approximately 50 students (Class I-VI) with structured lessons, spiritual guidance, and daily refreshment provided by monastics and volunteer teachers. The program includes activities focused on holistic development (a GAP-like Project).

On Sunday, October 26, 2025, a special event enhanced classroom facilities and promoted community fellowship.

A. Distribution

To improve classroom seating, the following were distributed:

  • Plastic Mats (Madur Mat): 5 pieces
  • Plastic Prayer Mats (Asana): 8 pieces

B. Special Mid-Day Meal

A special lunch was served to approximately 60 plates (students, teachers, volunteers, and local people). The generous meal included: rice, chicken, dal, fresh salad, papar, ice cream, sweets, and apples. The meal fostered a strong spirit of unity and goodwill among all attendees.
