Ramakrishna Mission, Kalyani organises welfare service activity ‘Dwi-pakkhik Matripuja’ on the third Sunday of every month among the socially and economically distressed women of the society. Such an activity was held on 17 September 2023, Sunday. A total number of 100 mothers received groceries and other items.
The welfare service began with the chanting of holy hymns and the invocation of the Holy Trio at the Prayer Hall of the Centre. Each mother was welcomed by chandan tilak and garland.
During the activity, the distribution of rice, pulses, soybean, potato, puffed rice, soap, nutrimix powder and some fruits was done among each recipient. The monks and devotees of the Ashrama participated in the distribution of the items.
