Ramakrishna Math, Dakshineshwar continued its service-oriented initiatives throughout the month, reaching out to economically vulnerable families and individuals in the surrounding areas.
Educational Assistance (6 January)
Financial support of ₹1,000 was provided to a meritorious college student to assist with academic expenses.
Support for Widowed Mother (22 January)
Pecuniary help was extended to a widowed mother to meet her essential medical needs.
Relief Distribution
With generous support from the Inner Wheel Club, Salt Lake, the Math distributed:
- 45 blankets
- 15 pressure cookers (including 10 for widows)
These items were provided to needy families to help them manage winter conditions and daily cooking requirements.
Monthly Ration Support
The Math continued its ongoing ration distribution programme, offering monthly assistance to 10 widowed mothers. The support included:
- Groceries
- Toiletries
- Stationery
- Pressure cookers
This initiative helps ensure basic sustenance and dignity for mothers facing economic hardship.
