As a part of the commemoration of the 125th Anniversary of Ramakrishna Mission’s Foundation, a youth camp was conducted by Ramakrishna Mission, Chengalpattu, on 29 September 2023. Around 250 young students from 9 colleges in and around Chengalpattu participated in the camp. The ashrama had distributed books to the colleges and requested them to conduct essay competitions among the students and to send the selected students to the Youth Camp at Chengalpattu.
The morning session was presided by Swami Vimurtananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Math, Thanjavur, and delivered a talk to the students. Wing Commander Jayakumar and Dr. Satyakumar graced the occasion and gave speeches interacting with the youths. In the afternoon, there was a question and answer session in which the youth participated enthusiastically.
Books and a photo frame of Swami Vivekananda were presented to all the students.
