20 August 2023 : On the occasion of 125th Foundation Day of Ramakrishna Mission a Youth Convention was organized by Ramakrishna Math (Gadadhar Ashrama) on 20th August 2023 in the ashrama premises.
About 45 students, teachers and guardians had attended the programme.
Yogasana, concentration practice through meditation and discussion on the Life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda were the main topic of the programme.
The participating students were asked to discuss about services to the society and country, based on the life and teachings of Swamiji.
Books on Thakur, Maa and Swamiji were distributed amongst the students as a token of appreciation.

Yogasana, human pyramid, concentration practice through meditation and discussion on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda were the main topics of the programme. The participating students were asked to discuss the following topics based on the life and teachings of Swamiji :
a) The services they intend to offer to the society / country.
b) The services they intend to offer to the people around them.
c) A brief discussion on the services (a & b) if they are already providing.
d) Discussion on how they like to frame their daily routine to instil Swami Vivekananda’s idea of service and self intersection in their life.
Books on Thakur, Maa and Swamiji were distributed amongst the students as a token of appreciation.
