Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Karimganj, Assam, is continuing the relief services for the families affected due to the lockdown for COVID-19 pandemic.
The ashrama distributed 22750 kg rice, 6022 kg dal, 13420 kg potato, 6075 kg salt, 400 kgs atta, 1565 ltr mustard oil, 8250 pkts of biscuits, 10987 bars of soap, 630 strips of vit. B. complex and 9035 pcs mask among 6124 families in Karimganj district from 31 March to 14 May 2020.
The ashrama distributed 11803 kg rice, 2910 kg dal, 5904 kg potato, 3007 kg salt, 400 kgs atta, 230 ltr mustard oil, 5237 pkts of biscuits, 4991 bars of soap, 632 strips of vit. B. complex and 3703 pcs mask among 3009 families in Karimganj district from 31 March to 25 April 2020.
On 5 April 2020, the ashrama distributed ration kits to 230 families.

Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Karimganj, Assam, has started relief services in the wake of lockdown owing to COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. On 31 March 2020, the ashrama has distributed rice 5 kg, dal 1 kg, potato 2 kg, salt 1 kg, biscuits 1 pkt, Vitamin B Complex Tablets 1 strip, soap 1pc, to 270 families. On 1 April 2020, another 170 families has been given food items. All beneficiary families were daily wage earners – auto drivers, daily labourers and rickshaw pullers.
