Ramakrishna Ashrama, Rajkot: COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Services


Ramakrishna Ashrama, Rajkot, is continuing the relief services for the people affected due to the lockdown for the COVID-19 pandemic.

The centre also distributed 7,830 kg rice, 2,175 kg dal, 1010 kg wheat, 7,405 kg flour, 7,405 litres edible oil, 4,384 kg potatoes, 1,428 kg onions, 1,779 kg sugar, 429.6 kg assorted spices, 265.6 kg tea leaves, 1,394 kg salt, 1,133 packets of biscuits, 1,239 bars of soap, 260 kg Jaggery, 260 kg Suji, 50 kg Bajara among 1,648 families in Rajkot, Ahmedabad and Kutch districts from 30 March to 24 May 2020. The centre also distributed total 6500 Face Masks, (1500 nos. to Vegetable venders in Rajkot city and 5000 nos. among corona warriors Police Personnel of Ahmedabad through Ramakrishna Math Ahmedabad)

The ashrama distributed 177 ration kits in Bhadej and Jamalpur slum areas of Ahmedabad city through its Ahmedabad sub-centre on 31 March 2020 and 174 ration kits in slum area of Raiyadhar area of Rajkot city on 1 April 2020. Total of 351 ration kits are distributed among the poor and needy families.




Shri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Rajkot started COVID-19 pandemic relief services with the distribution of 180 ration kits among 180 poor and needy families of Parevada village (near Rajkot) containing the following items:
