In continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic relief services, Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, distributed ration kits to 1325 families from nearby slums and few distant Villages from 6 April 2020 to 18 May 2020.
The ashrama distributed dry ration kits to 450 poor and needy families of nearby slums and a few distant villages, from 14 May to 18 May 2020.
The ashrama distributed — Rice-3150; Dal-3600 kg; Sugar – 2100; Sooji- 2100 kg; Atta – 2100 kg; Edible oil-1050 Ltrs; Assorted spices-637.5 kg; Tamarind-600 kg; Salt-1050 kg; Masks-1050 numbers, from 4 May to 18 May 2020, to 1050 families.

The centre conducted COVID-19 relief service among poor and needy people from nearby slum areas from 6 April to 03 May 2020. So far the centre has covered 275 families.
On 02 and 03 May 2020, the ashrama distributed ration kits among 33 families from nearby slum areas.
On 25 April 2020, the centre distributed ration kits among 25 poor and needy families in a nearby village Kulamangalam.

On 8 April 2020, the Ashrama distributed the Dry Ration Kit to 7 families.
On 7 April 2020, the Ashrama distributed the Dry Ration Kit to 31 families.
On 6 April 2020, the Ashrama distributed food Kits to 12 families.
Each Kit contained – Rice-2 kg, Toor dal-1kg, Moong dal-1kg, Channa dal-½ kg, Sooji-1kg, Refined oil-1kg, Sambar powder-200 gms, 7) Turmeric powder-200 gms, Tamarind-½ kg, Table salt-1 kg, Sea salt-1kg, Toilet soap-1 pc, washing soap-2 pc, Tooth paste-1, Tea-100 gms and 1 Face mask.
