Cyclone Mondous crossed Mahabalipuram area in Chengalpattu district on 9 December causing damages in some parts of the state. In response to the calamity, Chennai Math served 700 plates of food and distributed 1350 kg rice, 56 kg vermicelli, 426 kg pulses, 270 litres cooking oil, 270 kg sugar and 116 kg assorted spices among 270 families in Chennai district on 10 and 14 December.

In the wake of a fire accident in Digboi on 29 November, Digboi centre distributed 15 cooking pots (handis), 15 frying pans (kadais), 15 cooking spuds (khuntis), 15 ladles, 15 spoons, 15 buckets, 15 mugs, 75 bowls, 45 plates, 45 tumblers, 45 blankets, 45 saris, 45 dhotis, 15 towels, 15 mirrors and 15 combs among 15 affected families on 18 December.

In a dreadful fire incident at Harijan Colony in Guwahati on 9 December, 58 families were badly affected.  Guwahati centre provided 58 blankets, 58 mosquito nets and 58 saris to the affected families on 11 December.

Many houses were damaged due to heavy rains in some parts of Tamil Nadu in November. Malliankaranai centre extended a helping hand by distributing 160 tarpaulins among as many families in Kanchipuram district from 24 November to 13 December.

Baranagar Mission, Kolkata: 7 dhotis, 207 saris, 97 lungis, 24 shirts, 24 trousers and 24 ladies’ garments on 23 and 25 September.

Cooch Behar: 53 mosquito nets, 50 notebooks, 50 pens, a football, a skipping rope, 2 badminton rackets and 6 shuttlecocks on 27 November.

Darjeeling: 5050 kg rice, 630 kg semolina, 1890 kg pulses, 1260 kg soya chunks, 630 kg gram, 1010 litres cooking oil, 1260 kg salt, 334 kg assorted spices, 1260 kg sugar, 1260 packets of biscuits, 1260 bars of bathing soap and 1260 bars of dish-washing soap from 20 July to 20 December.

Dibrugarh: 280 plates of food, 80 kg wheat flour, 20 kg chira (rice flakes), 40 kg pulses, 20 kg soya chunks, 40 litres cooking oil, 40 kg salt, 40 kg sugar, 40 packets of biscuits, 40 bars of bathing soap and 40 bars of washing soap in November.

Digboi: 289 saris and 211 dhotis from 4 September to 29 December.

Guwahati: 120 dhotis on 3 December.
