Free Health Camps: Jammu, February 2025

1. Health Camp at High Court of J&K (10 February 2025)

In collaboration with SIBA Organisation, Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu organized a Free Health Camp at the High Court of J&K. A team of four doctors provided medical consultations and treatment to 300 patients, ensuring essential healthcare services for those in need.

2. Health Camp & Book Stall at Baba Jitto Temple, Jhiri (12 February 2025)

Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu, conducted a Free Health Camp at Baba Jitto Temple, Jhiri, offering a range of medical services. Patients received consultations from Ophthalmologists, Allopathy & Ayurvedic Physicians, and Dental Surgeons, along with free blood sugar tests and BP check-ups.

A total of 150 patients benefited from the expertise of five doctors, with 35 blood sugar tests conducted free of cost.

On this occasion, a bookstall was also set up, featuring inspiring literature on Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Swami Vivekananda, and Indian culture, which attracted many devotees.

3. Health Camp for Students at KNIT Green Model Academy, Sangrampur (19 February 2025)

Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre organized a Free Health Camp at KNIT Green Model Academy, Sangrampur, Jammu, benefiting over 400 students. A dedicated team of four doctors, assisted by two medical assistants, conducted examinations and provided necessary healthcare support throughout the day.

4. Comprehensive Health Camp (22 February 2025)

Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre conducted a major Free Health Camp featuring renowned specialists, including Dr. Nikhil Mahajan, a distinguished cardiologist from Jammu, and two experts from Government Ayurvedic Medical College (GAMC), Akhnoor.

  • Dr. Sudesh Gupta, an expert in Kshar Sutra treatment, provided consultations for conditions such as piles and fistula.
  • Dr. Twinkle Gupta offered treatment for chronic conditions like diabetes, joint pain, stress, and anxiety.

The camp provided comprehensive medical services, including consultations with specialists in Cardiology, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Allopathy, Ayurveda, and Physiotherapy. Refreshments were also provided for all attendees.

A total of 390 patients received free medical care from 14 doctors, with 70 fibro scans and 26 spirometry tests conducted at no cost.

The event was graced by Shri Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament of Jammu, who commended the Mission’s service and encouraged local citizens to take full advantage of these healthcare initiatives.
