Free Medical Camps:
Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi has successfully conducted two free medical camps on Sundays, June 9th and 23rd, 2024. Dr. Arindam Ganguly from Sonari, Charaideo, supervised the camps. During these camps, a total of 36 patients were examined on June 9th and 52 on June 23rd. Free medication was provided based on Dr. Ganguly’s prescriptions.
Free Cataract Detection Camp:
A free Cataract Detection Camp was held on our premises on June 23rd, 2024. This camp was organized in collaboration with Drishti Netralaya Eye Hospital, Dibrugarh, and the National Programme for Control of Blindness. Out of 38 participants, 38 were screened, and cataracts were detected in 24 individuals. Thankfully, 21 patients present were referred for free cataract surgery.
Free Routine Immunization Camp:
In collaboration with Digboi CHC, a free Routine Immunization Camp was held on June 26th, 2024, at the ashram premises. This camp offered free TD-1 & 2 vaccinations to 4 pregnant women and 15 children.
