In response to the floods caused by heavy rains in October, Lucknow centre extended a helping hand by distributing 200 mosquito nets, 100Â matchboxes and 100 packets of mosquito coils among 150 families in Gonda district on 12Â October.
Floods caused by torrential rainfall affected some parts of the country in June. In the wake of the disaster, Habiganj centre served 14,322 plates of food in Sunamganj, Netrokona and Habiganj districts from 21 June to 28 September.

Thanjavur centre built a cowshed at Udharamangalam village in Thanjavur district on 13 November to help some needy people stand on their own feet.
Cyclone Sitrang struck Polotona area in Gopalganj district on 24 October and left a trail of destruction. In response to the calamity, Bagerhat centre provided 35 corrugated tin sheets to an ashrama on 7 November to help them relay the roofs.
Assam: Guwahati centre donated a sewing machine to a widow and a handloom machine (tantsal) to a poor woman on 7 October.
Tamil Nadu: Thanjavur centre donated 2 cows to poor people on 5 October.
