Ramakrishna Vedanta Centre, Bourne End, UK organised three events in December 2018 to commemorate the 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses.
Public Meeting on the theme Shaping the future of humankind – what we can learn from Swami Vivekananda at MG Hall, YMCA, London on Sunday, 2 December 2018 from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm. Eminent speakers like Emily Buchanan, Senior BBC Journalist (and related to Josephine MacLeod) and several academicians from Oxford, Cambridge and London School of Economics spoke on different topics related to the theme.
Two workshops on the same theme Shaping the future of humankind – What we can learn from Swami Vivekananda were held for youth and teachers/parents on Sat, 1 December and Sat, 8 December respectively at Ramakrishna Vedanta Centre, Bourne End in which nearly 150 participated. It was also webcast live.
