The 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the Parliament of Religions, Chicago, was celebrated on 11 September 2018 at Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Patna, with great pride and enthusiasm.
The programme was started with lighting of lamp and vedic invocations and offering of flower on Swami Vivekananda’s statue. Swami Sarvalokananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Narendrapur, delivered presidential address on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
Professor Suresh Narayan Jha was the Chief Guest from Bokaro, spoke eloquently on Swamiji’s messages. School student’s delivered Chicago address in Hindi and in English language. Devotional songs were sang by the students of different school and devotees of ashrama.
Near about 350 students from different schools and colleges participated in the programme. Prasad was distributed to all the participants.
