An Awareness Programme on precautionary measures and remedial steps to be taken in cases of dog bite and snake bite was organised by Ramakrishna Mission, Shyamsayer, Bardhaman on Tuesday, 14 July 2026, at Bardhaman Sri Ramakrishna Saradipith High School, Shyamsayer, Bardhaman — situated in the immediate vicinity of the Ashrama.
The programme was addressed by Dr. Rahul Deb Mukherjee, a veterinary doctor and scientist, who is also an active member of the Youth Cell of Ramakrishna Mission, Shyamsayer, Bardhaman. Dr. Mukherjee delivered a comprehensive lecture accompanied by a slide presentation, covering practical precautions and first-response measures for both dog bite and snake bite incidents. The session was conducted for the teachers and students of the school and was noted to be informative, interactive, and highly effective, leaving a meaningful impact on all participants.
The programme was organised with the active participation of the monks and Youth Cell members of Ramakrishna Mission, Shyamsayer, Bardhaman.
