Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu, celebrated 15 August 2022 as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The participants were students from the ashrama library who use the library to prepare for competitive exams.
The programme started with flag hoisting in front of the main temple followed by speeches, poems and songs on patriotic themes by the students.
Some students and staff members from the Institute of Music and Arts presented vocal and instrumental music.
An important attraction was the Odissi dance performed by Sri Jagat Jyoti Banerjee of Kolkata.
About 200 people attended the programme held in our auditorium whereas nearly 150 people took prasad.
