Srimat Swami Divyananda ji Maharaj, Vice-President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, graciously visited Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Kailashahar from 21 to 24 July 2026. During his stay, Revered Maharaj inaugurated the newly constructed Sadhu Niwas (Monks’ Quarters) at the Ashrama and presided over a Devotees’ Conference (Bhakta Sammelan).
A brief account of the programmes held during his visit is given below.
21 July 2026 (Tuesday) — Arrival and Inauguration of Sadhu Niwas
Revered Maharaj arrived at the Ashrama at 4:30 p.m., where nearly 300 devotees and admirers accorded him a warm and reverential reception. At 5:00 p.m., he formally inaugurated the ground floor of the newly constructed Sadhu Niwas by offering flowers at the holy feet of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda, followed by Arati and the auspicious blowing of conch shells.
23 July 2026 (Thursday) — Devotees’ Conference (Bhakta Sammelan)
A Devotees’ Conference (Bhakta Sammelan) was organised by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Kailashahar, at which Revered Maharaj blessed approximately 270 devotees. Also present on the occasion were Swami Amartyananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaleswar, and Swami Ganadhishananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Silchar.
The conference was conducted with great enthusiasm and devotion and comprised the following items:
