Ramakrishna Math, Ooty distributed 282 blankets covering about 282 families. Due to the severe cold of the Ooty, the centre did a survey of several places and selected an interior forest area where Tribals live. Their condition is really pitiable. Even though there is a vast Vacant land, they are unable to cultivate anything because of the frequent harassment of the elephants. The Elephants even enter their houses and trample them.
