On 12 January 2020, Hon’ble Vice President of India Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, inaugurated the Centenary Celebrations of Sri Ramakrishna Vijayam – Tamil magazine of Ramakrishna Order.
Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu, Shri Banwarilal Purohit, and Shri D. Jayakumar, Hon’ble Minister of Fisheries and Personal Administration also participated. Around 200 cultural-spiritual Programmes are going to be conducted during this year in Chennai. Many Cultural centres, colleges and well-wishers will be participating in the celebration.
Hon’ble Vice President of India, while addressing the youth, highlighted the teachings and the address of Swamiji at Chicago. He also highlighted the contribution made by Sri Ramakrishna Vijayam. Around 1200 devotees, readers and students participated.
Prizes were distributed to the Prize Winners of the various competitions conducted in connection with the centenary, around 1,40,000 students had participated.
